Many of you are already fasting and praying with 40 Days for Life or with Lou Engle or the many others that are calling for humilition and fasting and extreme, crying out prayer. Let’s cry out for God Almighty to move in such a way, “Not by power nor by might but by My Spirit, saith the Lord.”

Let’s pray that as the trucks and missionaries come into each town that there would be an anointing; that as the pictures are seen, that the anger people feel would be directed, not at these apostles and prophets, but at the sin of abortion itself.

Let’s pray that as the people were moved into action at the pictures of the emaciated bodies piled into mass graves in Germany and as Wilberforce was moved into action when he saw the chains of slavery and smelled death in the slaver ships, that we as a state and as individual cities and individual citizens, will respond as the Lord would have us do.

May the Holy Spirit lead us into the wilderness of prayer, intense prayer this week especially. I have such a burden that our response to Truth this week will determine whether this revolution will be filled with grace and mercy unto restoration or judgment unto the destruction that we know we deserve.

The tour two “truth trucks” with large signs of born, preborn, and aborted babies along with 45 prolifers with large signs of born, preborn, and aborted babies. The statistics GRL gives about abortions in Georgia are troubling.

In 2006, 57.4 percent of the abortions in Georgia were performed on black women, even though blacks make up about 30 percent of the population, according to the most recent figures from the federal Centers for Disease Control. Of the 37 states that reported abortion data by race, Georgia was second only to New York and Texas in the number of abortions performed on black women. Only Mississippi and Maryland reported a higher percentage of abortions going to black women than Georgia.  See GRL.   

The numbers are similar for African-Americans across the country, with 49.3 abortions for every 1,000 performed.  Hispanic women have the second highest rate with 26 out of every 1,000.  Did you know, for example, that 94% of all abortion clinics are located in urban areas? Nationwide, blacks make up 12.8% of the population but account for 36.4% of all abortions. 43% of all black pregnancies end in abortion.  See Hot Air.   

Is the billboard shocking?  Yes, and I’m sure it was designed to be that way.  As Cassy Fiano at Hot Air points out, while I don’t think Planned Parenthood (PP) has a vast conspiracy to rid the world of African-Americans, I certainly believe PP appreciates all the money they are making off of African-American and Hispanic women who choose to have an abortion.

The sad fact is that PP doesn’t want women to think about other options — they can’t stand it when the facts about abortion are plainly stated.  Just like the howling and protesting over the Tebow commercial (which turned out to make their protests look ridiculous) they can’t stand any light shining on the darkness of abortion.  It’s in their best interest for women to keep on having abortions, and that’s why they will fight tooth and nail to keep billboards like this from seeing the light of day.

Then we began abortion counseling to minister to the women (and men) who have been tramatized by abortion. Many, many of us and our friends have been through these courses and have received healing finally from the guilt, shame and regret.

Then we began PersonhoodFL to protect not only the pre-born but also the elderly and the disabled.

Only then did we bring out the pictures. We do not like to show them. But it is time for Truth to be told. It is time for this holocaust to end. It is very important not to miss this window of grace. We do not want to have to have a civil war to finally end this injustice like we had to with slavery. Our founding fathers did not like slavery but yielded to those who said to wait. Now we have the blood of over 52 million innocent on our hands. As Thomas Jefferson said of slavery and Abraham Lincoln quoted him, “I shutter when I think that God is just, and His justice cannot sleep forever.”

I am very sorry that the pictures have caused you any pain. But can you feel sorrow for that little baby and realize that his pain is even greater? If you have had an abortion please seek healing, Jesus died for our sins, knowing that we would commit them. Then He wants to use us to bring healing to our state. Let’s rise up and do what our Constitution mandates us to do: “enjoy and defend life”.

We have many friends who have adopted babies from the rescued women at abortion chambers. I know one couple who goes weekly to the abortion chamber and yearns for a baby they are unable to have.

Therefore, I strongly urge everyone to support the Florida Personhood Amendment, which would amend the Florida Constitution to define “person” and “natural persons” as applying “to all human beings, irrespective of age, race, health, function, condition of physical and/or mental dependency and/or disability, or method of reproduction, from the beginning of the biological development of that human being.” This is critical because the 14th Amendment “due process clause” and “equal protection clause” to the United States Constitution state as follows: “nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.” Article 1, Section 2 of the Florida Constitution declares: “All natural persons, female and male alike, are equal before the law and have inalienable rights, among which are the right to enjoy and defend life.” The majority opinion of the United States Supreme Court in Roe v Wade, Sec. IX, states, “If this suggestion of personhood is established, the appellant’s case, of course, collapses, for the fetus’ right to life would then be guaranteed specifically by the Amendment.” However, the Court went on to say: “On the other hand, the appellee conceded on reargument that no case could be cited that holds that a fetus is a person within the meaning of the Fourteenth Amendment.” And then the Court concluded, “In short, the unborn have never been recognized in the law as persons in the whole sense.”

If a majority of states legally recognize the unborn “as persons in the whole sense,” then the whole Roe v Wade opinion collapses. This is why we must support personhood from state to state!

Additionally, with personhood, there are no “exceptions.” It would be ridiculous to suggest that all unborn children are persons except for children conceived in rape. And just to be clear, the Florida Personhood Amendment specifically provides that the term “person” applies irrespective of the method of reproduction.

We’ve been stuck in the desert for nearly 40 years. I’m tired of those who are afraid of the “giants in the land.” Chipping away at abortion has not brought us any closer to ending abortion in our nation. God is not going to honor mediocrity and compromise when it comes to the slaughter of innocent children who He created in His image. I want to have the same spirit of boldness that David and Caleb and Joshua had, recognizing that God is on our side and we don’t need to be afraid. Let’s take this giant out by hitting him where it counts. With this issue, personhood is where it counts, and the opposition knows it.

When you can say that you are pro-life without exception, it’s like saying, “I get it — you matter. Yours was a life worth saving!” Now I hope you’ll go forth and do the same for others by supporting the Florida Personhood Amendment. Let’s get this done.

Here is the desired accommodations for housing:

We travel light — a place on the floor is fine. Like to separate the men from the women (and separate snorers!). Showers are very important, but even just 2 or three will suffice.

We need help with Intersection Selection for many of these events. Here is the desired criteria for the Intersections:

Where traffic backs up heavily (if a noon stop, then during that time — if an evening rush hour stop, then during that time).

Traffic has a posted speed of 30–40 (45 is acceptable in some places). Two lanes in each direction is best (but bigger if need be). No parked cars for a half mile leading up to intersection and past intersection. No right turn lanes (if possible) so that we can put out literature when the cars are stopped.

We need help with meals for many of these event. If you can provide sandwiches or soup, we would greatly appreciate it.

The proposed amendment states “Section 32. Person defined. As used in sections 3*, 6**, and 25*** of Article II of the state constitution,
the term “person” shall apply to every human being from the beginning of the biological development of that human being.”

The signature campaign had hundreds of churches that petitioned repeatedly, along with over 1,000 petition circulators and even more
volunteers. All signatures submitted were gathered by volunteers, and the campaign was 100% volunteer-run, with no paid petitioners or staff.

“Colorado is paving the way for personhood,” commented Keith Mason, co-founder of Personhood USA. “Hundreds of thousands of Americans
are catching the vision of personhood , and we expect that several other states will soon follow Colorado in putting personhood on the ballot.”

Martin County Care Net’s 2010 Annual Walk For Life was a wonderful event to meet new friends and enjoy family time.

The response was great to the motorcycle run and bicycle ride and other activities for kids. There were special prizes, award, and a complimentary lunch.

PersonhoodFL was in the midst of it all, collecting signatures from registered Florida voters, meeting new church liaisons and Personhood activists.
